The
School of Construction and Property Management (SCPM) at the University
of Salford, UK has an international reputation for management,
information and environmental systems research in the built environment.
It achieved the highest score (5*) in the built environment category
of the 2001 of the UK Research Assessment Exercise. It has a current
research portfolio of over £2 million per annum with a staff
of 30 in the area of information technology, management and sustainable
urban development. The School has considerable experience of multi-disciplinary
projects especially in the area of information technology in construction,
property management and briefing as well as sustainable urban
development.
